Can you see the open hearth through the window, there’s a log fire burning, with space for passers by to come in and get warm. Can you feel the welcome, a rhythm of hope beckoning those with trampled dreams to stop and take refuge; to be loved and find rest.
In the bedroom there are ‘maps’ laid out on the floor, places not yet discovered. New adventures rising, beyond current understanding, dreams not yet dreamed, times and places yet to be revealed.
Friends old and new are gathering, a fresh purpose arising, little by little the walls of mistrust are crumbling and the invitation is out to “Come and join with me”.
There is a studio and in it a desire for new creative expression finds a place to linger and grow, words on a page tumble down the walls like crystal reflections in a waterfall.
For the child who was lost has found a home, now is the time, now is the time
It’s time to live again
Month: October 2026
The moment
Today I lost the moment, in some distant dream.
A place of ‘disconnection’ where ‘now’ cannot be seen
Today I lost the moment, it’s true I had to flee
A lifetime of disappointments, in control of me
Today I lost the moment, I found I could not stay
Torment and pain familiar friends, I hid and ran away
Have you seen the moment, help me to wait and stand?
A glimpse of now to enjoy, new footsteps in the land.
Let now be the moment, faith and strength rise up
Living life in new-found peace, a hope that fills my cup
and overflows in gurgling streams to those who mill around
The joy and fun of lingering, the moment lost was found
The Call of Noah
Have you seen the Nephilim, walking the streets and insidiously invading the space where thought and creativity once roamed freely? Worshipped and programmed with God like divinity, ‘romancing’ our sons and daughters in relationship covenants?
I do, I do, I do, I do
Have you seen the Nephilim, hybrid beauty, posting, controlling, spontaneity lost in repetitive algorithms.
Have you heard the call….to build an ark? Wild and creative, spontaneously overflowing.
Where windows of life are open to explore, unbarred freedom with unfettered horizons.
To build an ark, rubies and precious stones hanging like fruit from trees bringing healing and forgiveness,
every shade and colour, preparing for events yet to come, the promise of the rainbow
In the midst of humanity there is a voice, to build an ark, the call of…..
Autumn Breeze
As the sycamore and ash seeds fall, watch them scatter with joyful abandon, hap-hazardously carried……the autumn breeze.
Did you see where all the seeds fell? Impossible to catch, let them flutter; allow them to fly, their asymmetric wing shape carrying them far away, nothing uniform, the wind of the spirit blowing them across the land
Watch and pray, who knows where?
North and south, east and west
For each seed has a passion uniquely apportioned, creativity and truth….form a foundation.
One day as you journey and take rest you will see, familiar saplings in places that surprise you, growing where the wind took them in places you didn’t expect, bowing down…..a show of respect as you pass.
Well done my good and faithful servants
Response: That’s beautiful. Thank you so much. A precious thought so exquisitely expressed. We will print it out and frame it.
Autumn Healing
Leaves are falling, words carpeting the ground in silence.
Each fresh covering a poem yet to be heard; creative verse unpacked and downloaded. Colourful emotions carpet the ground, a kaleidoscope of autumnal satire.
Look around, breathe in the sharp October air, the leaves are whispering, golden browns and russet reds a seasonal rendition.
Words hang, capturing the moment, uniquely layered together.
Phrases and sentences like magic caught, hovering, speaking, the same location yet different verse; every new visitor with their own understanding.
Autumn leaves caressing the soul, fresh hope, life and healing.
It’s time to live again
There is no brand wild enough for my unchained, unfettered heart
No brand to make me more unique, I’m already set apart
No brand shouts out load enough, to take the place of you
My heart remains unbranded, your lover through and through
To follow in your footsteps, opens up the way
Life and truth and colour, a passionate display
May I leave this life unbranded, an epitaph be told
“There was no brand that stole his heart
To Jesus he was sold”
