How long was I asleep for?
It seemed such a long time.
I didn't even notice I was sleeping, there was a normality to my distant ways?
Even in my waking moments, I was drifting away on ocean currents, alone in my world of none engagement.  
Wake up, Wake up! shake off the ashes of disappointment, where cremated dreams were dead and buried.
Wake up, Wake up! look beyond the walls of self protection and fan the flame of inner passion.
